Revolutionary Era Blog

Welcome to AAR’s Revolutionary Era Blog

In Analyzing American Revolution, over 30 scholars explore the Revolution from unique perspectives in in-depth video interviews with host Adel Aali. Our Revolutionary Era Blog supplements these interviews with three types of weekly posts:

  1. Interview Transcript Highlights
  2. Interview Image and Artist Highlights
  3. Quiz Answers and Backstories

In addition to our guest scholars’ in-depth analyses of the American Revolution, host Adel Aali shares his own insights—gleaned from over 200 interviews with world history scholars—offering fresh perspectives and deeper context.

We chose the title Revolutionary Era Blog instead of “American Revolution Blog” because it better reflects the wide scope of our program, covering events around the world during the American Revolution and across preceding and subsequent generations.
